THEATRE @ THE REGENT

MTC presents “Theatre at the Regent” on Saturday 22nd November 2025 at 7 pm at The Regent.

This is a two Act show, combining the talents of our Murwillumbah Youth Theatre and adults from the parent company, MTC

Act 1 – Santa’s Zombie Apocalypse:

When Santa is trapped by zombies (who have somehow gotten into the North Pole toy shop) two reindeer fawns are determined to save the day. They make their way through the toy shop encountering wayward zombies and stranded elves. However, they learn that saving the day is not as easy as it sounds, and it’s certainly not like any video game they’ve ever played…

This hilarious, quick-witted piece is superably executed by the emerging talents of our advanced drama group. An exciting multi-media production which, despite its title, is light-hearted and suitable for all ages.

Act 2 –

A series of short skits from the senior Murwillumbah Theatre Company featuring all your favourite actors. These will include Customs Officer, Gussett and Rose, Ticket Inspector, Costello Buys a Computer and Mr Jones and The Manhunt.
